The Apostolic Nuncio in the Catholic Diocese of Rulenge-Ngara

The Apostolic Nuncio, who is the diplomatic representative of the Holy See and the Vatican City  in a country, is usually an archbishop.
The Apostolic Nuncio of Tanzania is Archbishop Francisco Montecillo Padilla from the Phillipines. He was born in September 1953, became an Ordained Priest in 1976 and a Consecrated Bishop in 2006. Before he was made the Apostolic Nuncio of Tanzania, he was the Apostolic Nuncio to Solomon Island and Papua New Guinea.
He came to visit the Diocese of Rulenge-Ngara at the 20th of September 2014, where he startet his visit at Buseresere and went than over to Biharamulo. There he came to the St. Severine Englisch Medium Primary school and the St. Clare Girls Secondary school.
The next direction was Rulenge where the Sisters of Goyagoya house of chairity welcomed him. After that he he had a look at the St. Alfred Rulenge Secondary school and the Fransiscan Sisters of St. Bernadette.

Now the german volunteer Justus Münch and Father Sixmund Nyabenda welcome everyone to the website of the Rulenge-Ngara Diocese in the Kagera region in western Tanzania. The diocese is located in the great lake region of Lake Victoria. On the western side is Burundi and Rwanda.
