Special Inauguration of Diocesan Girls' Secondary School - St. Clare
Students together with the invitees in the Multi Purpose
Hall during the ceremonial inauguration (28/03/2011).
The dream has finally come true! This was among the many words uttered by the Bishop of Rulenge-Ngara Diocese Rt. Rev. Severine NiweMugizi at a ceremonial Mass of blessing the school. Its truth is founded on the beginning of the catholic girls secondary school at Rukaragata, 4 km from Biharamulo town. The news of its launch was echoed with much enthusiasm with the towners and other people of good will to the Church and their girls. Hence, on the 28th January, 2011, the school was officially opened with the physical registration of eighty (80) students and on the 8th March, 2011, the Prime Minister Hon. Mizengo Kayanza Peter Pinda inaugurated the School. However, one thing was still missing, that is to entrust the school in God’s hands. This was done ceremoniously by the celebration of the Holy Mass presided by Rt. Rev. Severine Niwemugizi on the 28th March, 2011. Various guests, friends, faithful, priests, nuns and the students participated in this Holy Mass. The Holy Mass was followed by blessing all the structures present and a bit of entertainment prepared by the students wrapped in cloud blue, white, red and green costume!! It was wonderful! From their expression, you could note that the school is really under the patronage of St. Clara of Asisi. Be born in mind that the school is a result of various combination, the idea of the Bishop, prayers of the Sisters of the Congregation of Poor Clares – Mwanza and the Financial response of Franciscan Sisters of Charity and Penance, (the Province of Holland). In short, Payers of St. Francis of Asisi and St. Clara of Asisi has lead to the birth of St. Clara Girls Secondary School at Biharamulo.
The school will be under the banner or Motto Bold Printed:
“EDUCATION FOR SERVING WITH INTEGRITY”.
The Vision of the School:

MISSION OF THE SCHOOL:

We entrust the school, her successl and all who live in her, in God’s Hand through the intercession of St. Clara of Asisi and St. Francis of Asisi.
